Good overall benefits package. 401k match is similar to other companies I've seen. Trinity picks up a good chunk of the premium costs on the medical/dental/vision packages. Vacation/Sick leave/Personal time off is lumped into 'PTO' paid time off, which more and more companies are moving to. Amount of PTO for newer employees (5 years and less) can be relatively low, put the amounts do increase reasonably after that.
Base pay is good for environmental engineers. Not so good for chemical engineers. Understand that chemical engineers are actually taking a pay cut to work in consulting instead of industry. Vacation policy is pretty abysmal. 401k match is standard. Insurance is standard. PGS program is basically a sophisticated pyramid scheme, but most companies lack in this department. Flex religious holidays - we have a diverse group of employees.
Health Insurance plan is good.
No sick leave, so don't get sick or you won't get vacation.
PTO is like a tenure program: two weeks only till you are with the company for more than 5 years.
The best thing is that Trinity, in my opinion, does work hard to keep health insurance affordable. Worst thing is that there is no paid sick time, you have to take sick time as vacation time - it's all lumped together as "Paid time Off".
The benefits were AMAZING. I was very excited to be apart of a company that had wonderful benefits for a single person (no kids/family). 401K matching, LTD/STD benefits, life insurance, etc. The out of pocket cost was very low per pay period for benefits.
401k matching is nice, but not as high as other companies.
Health (PPO) and dental insurance is excellent. PTO is limited until 5 years with company.
pretty average benefits. should match 401k but they dont.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
