The insurance is really good. Also as a postdoc, I have no limit on vacation days as long as my PI OK's time off. New employee so I haven't taken advantage of the 401K yet
Health insurance benefits are designed to drive you to use Tufts doctors even when you live faraway and even when you have established care at a “competitor” provider.
Best is Health insurance which covers 100% of cost for visiting in network providers. Worst is no pension plan . No bonus is provided for non management position.
Best is the T pass and SNHU tuition coverage.
Good health insurance, lower cost prescriptions at hospital pharmacy, low 403b match, but they have increased it recently. The company has made a real effort to give annual % increases each year.
Great benefits(health, vision, and dental)
Everything was expensive. I would give it zero stars.. even pre tax the insurance was expensive and you weren't really allowed to go out of your network unless you paid an arm and a leg. I had to pick a new doctor because with my insurance I wasn't able to continue seeing my doctor of 15 years
The benefits are decent. You will be underpaid overworked and the benefits have probably gotten better since I left due to the hallmark health merger.
Salary is low, no additional compensation opportunities and little no support for professional development. Insurance is very restrictive you must go to Tufts. If it wasn’t for this insurance tufts would have no business.
The maternity/paternity leaves could be longer.
