I would highly recommend to work at the Tulane family and enjoy the special culture of New Orleans as well as the great food.
I’ve had cheaper premiums and copay with previous employers. Coworkers are super nice, but the organization is messy nonetheless...
Health insurance is only half covered
I received no benefits as part time employee. I cannot comment at all on the benefits package at Tulane University. I have heard that benefits are excellent for full time staff
Best benefits are the tuition waiver and working fringe tax waiver for the tuition waiver. The second best benefit is the 403(b) plan where they deposit 8% of your base salary into a retirement account with no matching necessary. Dental and vision are nice perks too.
Great benefit package that was accommodating to all people throughout the University
No benefits for part time TA's
Best thing is that Tulane provides free on-campus housing and a lot free meals to us. In addition, you have a lot of free time that you can spare by studying other subjects.
Overall the benefits package at the university, particularly Tulane Medical School, is excellent. The added holiday and vacation benefits, particularly at Christmas and Mardi Gras, is particularly good.
Has a lot of benefits, even smaller things like a budget high enough to cater meetings sometimes.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
