As a Ph.D. student, they pay half of a basic health insurance package with USD 1500 for four or five years, depending on the student's specific situation. After that, you get no more funding, but you are still required to have health insurance.
Absolutely loved working at Tulane - I would still be there if I haven't moved out of state!
Days off and holidays are really the best thing about working at Tulane. The health care plan is also good but salary is not up to cost of living in New Orleans
