Vacation takes time to accrue. No one seems to ever take more than two weeks off, more seem frowned upon. If you over accrue they will insist you start taking your vacation.

Normal for the entertainment industry, paid time off between Christmas and New Year unless you are required to work, which many are.

Very flexible with time off needed, probably because there were many times when you needed to work 10+ hour days during certain crunch time with some film releases.
