Food was the best perk at Twitter.

Outstanding Parental leave program with 5+ months for both new mothers and fathers. This is an area where Twitter has really invested and it currently seems to match the top programs in the SF Bay Area.

I love the time off policy. It lets you take off as needed which is crucial to longetivity at the company. They recently cut culture, fitness, and food benefits which saddens me deeply.

Best: 20 weeks paternity/maternity leave. Worst: Puny 401k matching.

Gym classes on site, free meals and snacks. Coffee/water. Fun activities to take part in such as tours of the neighborhood or running clubs.

Poor 401k matching and rules Benefits cut in 2016 and 2017. But good food, phone reimbursement, fitness reimbursement. Parking is discounted and there's more food in mini-kitchens. The best are 20 weeks parental leave and unlimited vacation time.

Strong benefits package. Unlimited vacation (subject to manager approval, which has never been a problem). Very good health and dental coverage. 140 days of maternity/paternity leave (as long as you've worked at the company for at least one year). Weak 401k match - $1500/year.

Maternity and Paternity leave are both quite generous at 20 weeks fully paid. On site food and facilities like gym are a massive time saver that allows more time for work. Very valuable.
