At Two Sigma, we believe the most important investment we make is in our people. We take care of our team.
We offer a broad range of employee benefits focused on health and wellness, including employer-subsidized medical and dental for your family and life and disability insurance. We believe that all of our employees should be able to participate in our organization's growth and success. In addition, we offer healthcare and dependent care flexible spending accounts, 401(k) retirement plans with partial company match, commuter benefits programs, and paid time off.
We honor wellness and work-life balance. We want our employees to be healthy and to have rich personal lives. Whether you're taking a break in our onsite gym (with free laundry!) or leaving early to get to a child's school play, we understand the need for flexibility. Our wellness and work-life programs evolve with the needs of our employees.
We love food and provide ways for us to eat together often — from frequent company lunches and birthday treats to milestone celebrations. In addition, our kitchens are stocked with a range of snacks and beverages to keep you energized every day.
Of course, the biggest benefit of all is our unique, vibrant culture, and the opportunity to learn and grow with the support and collaboration of our team.
Gold plated, best in the business
Health coverage is second to none. Sitting in a coma for a month will cost you $50 (small print applies obviously).
snacks in the office, very offer generous healthcare, 401(k) included, paid time off
Incredible insurance across the board. 401k match could be stronger.
They have company matching BUT, and a big BUT, is a graded vesting schedule in which 25% of your matched amounts are vested for each year of full-time employment with the company, beginning in your first year. That sucks that is not fully vested when granted.
The benefits don't compete with FAANG companies (Apple, Facebook, Google...), but they are above average. - Great Medical/Dental/Vision insurance. This is their best benefit. - The second best benefit would be that they bring many prominent people from the industry to give talks. - They just increased the default life insurance to 3 times your salary. Before was a mere 300k. - The 401k company match is only up to 5k. - There is very little documentation/support on what benefits employees get. There are no corporate discounts. - No free food. Only a lunch once a month, breakfast every Friday and occasional "birthday" snacks. This is the one that I miss the most from my previous employer. - They may tell you that free laundry is included. Its just a gym bag.
Good medical coverage, good vision/dental coverage, the back-up day care package needs work!
time off, flexible hours, gyms on almost every floor, pantry on every floor - completely stocked
Monthly lunches and weekly breakfasts
The health insurance is the best benefit that they provide. Also, there is a match for 401k and a great kitchen.
