At Two Sigma, we believe the most important investment we make is in our people. We take care of our team.
We offer a broad range of employee benefits focused on health and wellness, including employer-subsidized medical and dental for your family and life and disability insurance. We believe that all of our employees should be able to participate in our organization's growth and success. In addition, we offer healthcare and dependent care flexible spending accounts, 401(k) retirement plans with partial company match, commuter benefits programs, and paid time off.
We honor wellness and work-life balance. We want our employees to be healthy and to have rich personal lives. Whether you're taking a break in our onsite gym (with free laundry!) or leaving early to get to a child's school play, we understand the need for flexibility. Our wellness and work-life programs evolve with the needs of our employees.
We love food and provide ways for us to eat together often — from frequent company lunches and birthday treats to milestone celebrations. In addition, our kitchens are stocked with a range of snacks and beverages to keep you energized every day.
Of course, the biggest benefit of all is our unique, vibrant culture, and the opportunity to learn and grow with the support and collaboration of our team.
Good comp in general. Insurance has wide coverage. Free snacks though no lunch (abundant choices in SOHO). Also provides benefits for general well-being such as counseling and legal service. On-site gym and external reimbursement based programs also available.
There is nothing negative about the benefits package at Two Sigma. This firm takes care of their employees.
Great health insurance; multiple gyms onsite; excellent array of food/beverages in fully stocked kitchens on each floor... cons include mediocre dental and vision insurance, paltry 5k 401k match
Two Sigma has very competitive benefits, specifically in the case of health/dental insurance. At no monthly cost to employees, TS has great quality health insurance plans with low co-pays for most visits and procedures. There are multiple on-site gyms and work out classes on-site that take the place of gym membership for many employees. Vacation time is 20 days on average which is fairly standard however holiday time off is sparse ( for instance, we have a half-day on Christmas Eve and a half-day on New Year's eve).
TC 350k with 50k sign on, base 250k with 50 stocks.
401(k) - some cheap index funds on offer, the small cap etc are pretty high expense ratio (not sufficient assets to get cheapest class of shares). Matching of 100% up to 5k is underwhelming. Time off: 20 or 25 days depending on tenure/seniority, unlimited sick days Health - Excellent Dental/Vision - OK Learning & Development - Excellent (speakers brought on site, tuition/class/conference reimbursements and time off)
Great health package, 401k. Insurance, paid time off
Good healthcare, PTO, and employee perks. Can work from home as needed. Could offer more match for 401k plan,
Tuition reimbursement, strong medical, dental and vision benefits
Best thing is Free Lunch
