It is a great way to network with other reservists that have careers in diverse fields.
Depending on your full-time job, if you have one, this may be a decent amount of money for retirement. The health insurance is cheap and since there isn't a base around Houston you have the a nice selection of providers to choose from.
They have 401k, TSR, and one or 2 more but those are the only two that I am aware of at this moment.
The Job Training is great. I've only been in the Army Reserve long enough to get through AIT, so I can't speak on behalf of the rest of the package, but I've just about gotten enough training to equivocate to an associates degree in six months.

They offer Tricare Reserve Select which is very comparable if not better than some of your better civilian plans.
