There is a pension although I think that changed for new employees. Having a pension is an amazing benefit and I will even be able to continue my health benefits when I retire.
Good health insurance (only small co-pays and no deductible -- virtually unheard of outside of big public universities at this point, I think). But it was through HealthNet which was a bureaucratic nightmare to deal with.
Medical, dental, vision, retirement package. They have a great deal overall. And you get full benefits just for working 50% time or more.
Full coverage - dental and eye included. Really cannot beat the health care at UCLA.
