automatically get 2 days personal leave, plus you accrue about 12 hours of vacation time each month. My boss also gives me flexible working hours; if I've worked long hours or during the weekend, I can take time off later.

Inequal among different job titles, as well as on the low side as far as I'm concerned. 2 personal days is very good. No paid maternity leave.

There should be more vacation days for employees.

As graduate students fill the void between student and employee, there is no official paid time off. It is an ad hoc negotiation with the PI.
