work environment, work-life balance, learning intense
not the best, but decent benefits
Great benefits. Low Copay. Access to providers within the system. PTO benefit was better than any other hospital I've worked for.
Non-profit organization, so student will go away after 10 years of payments and health benefits aren't the best
PTO accrual is solid, ability to sell back PTO time for cash. Years count towards state service. Single person health insurance inexpensive
The family insurance cost is unreasonable
Basic benefits package, PTO for non shift workers is unacceptable. They do not advertise that PTO day benefits are inclusive of holidays (because we are a 24/7 operation), which makes sense if you are a clinical shift worker (and get holiday premiums when you work on a holiday). For someone in a general office or support role, it is not fair compared to other employers of similar roles.
The benefits package is comprehensive
The best thing about the benefits package at UNC Health Care is the health insurance.
fantastic vacation - flex scheduling - good medical
