    Insurance through UPMC but still pay lots for coverage

    Vacation and sick are all combined into PTO. If you are there for a while it accrues fairly quickly. Medical plans are expensive. 401k match is about average. A nice no-cost to employee life insurance benefit (speaking only for full time permanent employees). Lots of other small perks like small discounts at local eateries and retail stores. Generally a pretty good benefits package, except for the medical.

    401k is best. Benefits aren’t as bad if you are local to Pittsburgh. Dental is pretty bad

    Best thing is the super flexible work schedule. Worst is being a student worker there limits a lot of advancement opportunities

    The employee cost for benefits is extremely reasonable compared to other companies, I've heard from co workers. However, there is a gap between full time and part time employees. FT pay an average of $15 per pay for health insurance, and PT would pay $80 per pay for the same plan (as an example)
