The retirement plan for new hires is not fantastic. The health package is pretty good; the company pays for a lot of the cost.
Top of the line benefits
It takes a number of years in order to earn more than a week or two of vacation days. Not many days off/holidays between January and June.
The pay itself is far below industry standard. Its better to go to a different dock if this is the work you are looking for.
All in all a good package. Not a fan of CVS Caremark for prescriptions as I personally dislike the company.
401k - no match. Out of 3 different 401k(s) I own, the Teamster/UPS freight is the worst income creator. Benefits are proportionately better for large families. Stock purchase program for regular employees is pathetic.
Good health insurance , teamsters union
Excellent quality health insurance, very inexpensive, but it takes about 4 months post-hire to become eligible. 401k available for Union employees, but no company match. No paid vacation until after 1st year
401k and health insurance
Part timers get health benefits, staring pay is $12/hr with a $1 raise every year I believe you top out at $28
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
