Each office at USAID has a different policy for working from home and flexible leave schedules. Some offices are very flexible; others are not at all flexible.

The agency as a whole has made this possible, which is great for flexibility. My complaint is that the availability of this option is unequally granted, depending on your supervisor. That can be frustrating.

Depending on your specific job it is possible to telework some days. As a student it is rally beneficial to be able to work from the library, at home, etc as you won't waste time on the metro.
