30 days is as good as it gets.
Better than civilian jobs and also there are more days off during the year. This means that you do not have to use your saved leave days.
Plenty of leave accrued, but dependent upon your supervisor if you are allowed to take it. Good boss - good benefit. Bad boss - no chance of vacation when you want, even though you’re supposed to be able to take leave as needed.
There is no other occupation that i know of that offers 30 days a year off paid leave.
30 days paid vacation
Thirty days a year, plus holidays!
They pay for your leave is amazing and they
you only get 30 per year off and that includes weekends in that count, so a week in the military is 7 work days not 5.
Paid leave is a great benefit. If you have children and they are sick, and you have a decent supervisor you won't have to take leave.
Depending on your job you will have weekends and federal holidays off. You will also earn 2.5 days off per month that you can use anytime depending on workload.
