Their 401K program was really nice in the sense that the company matched what you paid in for your first year of employment and then they matched 20% after that.
They match only for a few years most of the time they did not
the 401K plan was sound when I was there. Just like an y 401 though , you need to keep an eye on your stock because the company will not tell you if there are stock issues, they will just put your money in your account and let it be taken away.
I really do not remember a lot about this. I wish I could help you out on this but all I remember was they do offer 401K and maybe matched up to a certain % after you were with the company for so long. Something like that.
Company matches up to a certain percentage of what you contribute.
employer matching even for part timers
the best THING OF THE company 401k IS THAT THE company MATCHES up to 5 %
The plan is not sufficient enough for such large airline.
USAir could contribute more to the employee pkgs. I dont think the contribution is in double digits yet.
401 K Matched 3 per cent. at the time i worked there the IAM had a good retirement package. i think subsequent contracts reduced the amount. the company had a pension some time ago but no longer sponsors a pension
