The Benefits is the same as any other agency.
Pros: Flex Time offered and Vacation/ Sick Time. Cons: Retirement package is hard to understand. Supplemental training required to understand retirement. Recommend new employees attend the retirement trainings.

As a temporary firefighter you are only eligible for health insurance during the summer while working. The insurance is good, but by the time you get the cards and have time to do anything with it, you are laid off again.
