    The amount given for using public transit varies as congress sees fit. It used to be over $200 a month as a max, now I believe it is less than $150/month

    It's less than headquarters but it will help pay for the Bus, & only the Bus. Its a mass transit subsidy. Now the lousy bus service is another issue.

    I have never heard of Commuter Checks and Assistance so i don't know what that is. Perhaps they are referring to mileage reimbursement. They do offer it, but I walked so I didn't need it.
