    Due to the nature of the census work, we were able to plan our hours and factor in when we would be out the field, meeting with team and other community members, etc.

    The Census advertised that you could choose your own hours. However, in actual practice my supervisor would put pressure on us to get results faster and would also occasionally schedule mandatory meetings that appeared to be for his convenience not mine. Also, sometimes I was available for work but they said that there was no work to be done so I couldn't work when I wanted to.
