Federal employees benefit plus flexible work schedule
Had quite a few options to choose from. You did not only have one or two choices.
The worst thing was they didnt train or tell me how to get benifits thwy told mw to figure it out on my own. No orientation packet was given nothing. Absolutely had no one offer to give me the insurance information they said to figure it out on my own.

Best- healthcare and retirement plans worst- vacation is on an accrual method of 1 day a month annual and 1day sick.

Tons of health insurance options, whether you want a HDHP, traditional PPO, or a "cadillac" plan. Multiple options for dental and vision as well. TSP is a great 401K alternative - low fees, agency matching. FERS isn't the best pension system for new employees, but it's better than no pension.
The package isn't bad. They offer levels of protection equivalent to the private sector and cover most of the cost.
