Excellent health insurance. Also 5% matching for our retirement plan. Additionally, 30 days of annual leave that you can carry over from year to year and gain up to 26 additional days depending how long you've been in government service. You also receive 104 days of sick leave that you can carry over and there's no limit on how much sick leave you can accumulate. Most offices also offer some type of flexible work schedule and/or telework.

Didn't have opportunity to join plan, project was short and lacked relevant resources throughout the process. Not efficient communications and information sharing./

Number of Officers depending on Government Budget approvals every year. Sometimes it is hard to get time off when you want it due to seasonal travel and need for officers to be on shift. Senior management within the state is sometimes difficult to work with and not understanding of work life balances.
