TSP which matches like 4% or 5% contribution, add in pension and social security. In the long run 20+ year you should be ok if you are gradually moving up in the GS pay scale.

Defined Benefit plan 1% per year of high three pay vested at year 5. Year 30 changes to 1.1% per year.
