Right now I am on a Maxi-Flex work schedule which allows me to have 1 "compressed" day off per pay period. I take every other Friday off, so I work 45 hours one week and 35 hours the next week. This is my absolute favorite perk to this job, it is very flexible and gives me the work life balance that most employees enjoy! We have 11 paid holidays in conjunction with our "compressed" days, so around the holidays there is an option of traveling or staying home with your family. We you start, you automatically start accruing 2.5 weeks of vacation and 2.5 weeks of sick time. After 3 years, you accrue 4 weeks of vacation and 2.5 weeks of sick. After 15 years, it's 6 weeks of vacation and 2.5 weeks of sick. We can bank up to 6 weeks of vacation and our sick time is unlimited - another wonderful perk that is contributing to a stable work-life balance. All major benefits are offered - medical, dental, short and long term disability. We have a pension plan along with a TSP and ROTH IRA if you choose to participate.
