Wide variety of benefits offered
Company offers range of insurance options for employees to enable a reasonable amount of price choice. Still expensive, but that's unavoidable. Should offer more PTO, takes several years to qualify for 3rd week of paid vacation- not competitive. Should offer paid parental leave.
I am very lucky to have worked for Kraft since 1982 then Alliant which was great. I have about 300 k today to pull out and reinvest. I just retired and put nothing into this 300k. Unfortunate that is sucks because when they bought Alliant this Great long term tradition of retaining long term knowledgeable employees ended. If your in foodservice today and want benefits find a job in government. Foodservice public sector now sucks. They even raised “sales” costs “inflated to extremes” you have to sell about 10 million a year to make what I made selling 2 million when I started in 1982. Go figure. Large public usfoods is all about them. The company is and will be the only winner in the long run.
