Standard vacation and paid time off plan. You accrue time off depending on the number of hours worked. Nothing spectacular.
One of the great perks of the job
You have to wait to get your days off. You don't get them all at the beginning of your job. You earn them every two weeks (4 hours per pay period)
Plenty of Vacation time and leave!
Vacation days accrue at a relatively generous rate, and there are also several opportunities to "telework," or work from home (which can feel a little like paid time off--working from home is great).
Make sure you have enough leave to take time off
4 hrs vacation time per pay period and that moves to 6 hrs vacation per pay period after 3 years of federal service.
