    Once you are past your first two years the military will pay of to 4,500 in Tuition Assistance per person every single year. That does not come out of your GI Bill. It is free and amazing.

    Upon 24 months of Active Duty service, you are allowed to receive Tuition Assistance. This is free college while you are Active Duty, not taking away from your Montgomery/Post-911 GI Bill.
