The health insurance was great. I was able to see all the doctors I wanted. Also really liked the 401k benefit; I believe I vested pretty quickly and the matching funds were great. I think there was also an EAP benefit.
They made you use all your vaction before the end of the year. So if you were to busy or covering other employees and couldnt use yours. You were SOL. Not very fair.
The benefits package is very good
I don't believe interns get benefits.
401k 5% maximum maximum contribution.
The health insurance is terrible
The best thing about USA TODAY-=Decent overall. The worst thing about USA TODAY=Changes annually
best thing is the 401K match.
scheduled days off are EXTREMELY limited and the health insurance is the bare minimum.
The 401k plan is decent and you can accrue vacation time quickly. I started at two weeks of vacation plus three floating holidays and topped out at four weeks of vacation and three floating holidays. Options for healthcare plans change every year and are dwindling. Four years ago we had three plans from which to choose but last year there was just one. Vision, dental and a healthcare savings account also are offered.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
