StarStarStarStarStar Current Research Assistant in Dallas, Texas

For a single individual it is free but the rate for adding on dependents is quite high doesn't compete with industry. Gotta be careful for provider not all UTSW doctors are under the 'UTSW BCBS' coverage umbrella so you have to do your research. Deductible is high for some portions also. Not the best.

Expensive for family members but, it is nice to know you can add them and pay for the added family members. Great thing, upon retirement, employees have their Medical insurance paid for life!!

StarStarStarStarStar Current Clinical Data Specialist in Dallas, Texas

The best thing about the insurance is that it is free to the employee. The co-pays are low and Blue Cross Blue Shield is the provider.
