The hours can be flexible. If you have an appointment to go to you may do so but make sure you have your calendar blocked and / or let your manager know beforehand.

Unlimited vacation is great, but things are faced pace and it can be hard to feel like I can get away. In general, managers are open to flexibility of working hours and times, but there are high expectations around delivery associated with it.

I give it three stars because it’s not like having a corporate job where you get paid PTO. As a partner there is high opportunity cost. You loose double when you don’t drive. You loose from lost earnings and you loose from daily expenses. So it’s tough if you have to take a week off because you’re sick. When you think you lost $1000 you probably really lost 1250 because you have to add up your expenses for the week not just lost earnings.

StarStarStarStarStar Former Driver in Miami, Florida

The best thing is that you can truly work whenver you want and as many hours as you want. Drive for a couple hours in the morning or put in 24 hours over the weekend

StarStarStarStarStar Current Driver in Atlanta, Georgia

You can choose when you want to work, no boss at all. You answer to yourself only.

StarStarStarStarStar Current Rideshare contractor Driver in Grand Rapids, Michigan

The best thing about the job is the ability to work “on-demand”. I can take 5 days off in a row or work 7 straight days, 12 hours each with 8 breaks during the shift or whatever makes sense for me. I am paid per ride and typically there are rides.
