Remote worker health insurance is super expensive. Likely to discourage remote work.

It's ok but coverage is very limited and does not cover prophylactical stuff.

In CA, Kaiser and Anthem are both offered. Anthem is fully covered for employees, and the Kaiser plan is very affordable.
