Best benefits: 2 company shut downs a year which is great. Wish senior leaders would approve another work/life balance way to take time off from work to rewind and decompress. This would allow employees up to “two” additional weeks as well as the initial offering of 3 weeks and 6 sick days. Employees who wanted this option would need to repay the company. Otherwise, I have not regretted my first year here. The people I have met and work with are excellent and I love the culture this has helped create. I’m excited for the future and don’t plan on leaving. Just need a few tweaks as mentioned above as a start.
Best-health benefits and working remotely.
average financial benefits 401K and retirement plan
health insurance is available with vision and dental and all that, 401k match available. tons of vacation time and two company shutdowns that are like extra vacation time.
Great benefits and work from home perks
Best is that it is very competitive benefits for its size. Working to provide career development tools and mentoring structure
generous PTO and flexible working hour
Annual equity/rsu grants, two-one week shutdowns (summer and winter), good insurance plans (kaiser/PPO), ok 401k match but vests immediately. No paid maternity/paternity leave is disappointing. Catered lunch every Thursday, snacks and drinks stocked in break rooms. No tuition reimbursement. Better than many, but not top tier for Bay area.
The benefits at Ultragenyx are very generous and comprehensive. Insurance, Vacation and Sick time are all competitive. Also a big bonus is that the company shuts down an additional two weeks out of the year.
The benefits here seem good, but I don't think include all the bells and whistles of tech companies. Would love to see paid family leave.
