UniFirst offers medical insurance for employees, including prescription coverage.
Rates seem pretty good. Company pays part and you pay some per paycheck. Getting spouse added is a hassle.
3 Month waiting period before getting benefits. HQ is in a state the requires coverage so working here you either have to pay a tax penalty, or over pay into COBRA. Its a first day sign of the culture of the company and its complete lack of care for employees
It was ok, it could be better. I don't think they fight very hard foe better insurance for their people.
They use cigna so you're limited to certain doctors in that web. expensive as well.
The health insurance is affordable and covers for everything co pay is low and can use almost anywhere.
Really decent health insurance to have
90 day wait period on benefits
Insurance is reasonably priced with minor deductibles
Not the best for the market I am in
Pretty good coverage for health only. $55 a week for single person. No disability for first year. You probably won't maintain employment much longer than that.
