Working for a higher education location with holidays/vacation time off or reduced hours are a great benefit.
You get the time off supposedly, but are encouraged in their horrible culture not to use it. And when you do use it your boss calls/emails multiple times daily - especially the CEO so you never really get to unplug or relax.
Day one holiday for mangement, good amountof holidays and other paid time off. Sick time rolls over if you don't use it.
Use it or lose it. Personally, I love this. I feel it is important to make sure your staff stay refreshed and happy. Taking time off is important, and without the option to pay our vacation, Unidine ensures that the staff takes the time they earn and deserve.
What I do not like about the vacation and sick time is that you only get 2 weeks of vacation and only 2 days of sick time. Other than we do get lots of holidays off!
3 weeks of vacation once you have been here for a year or 2
