As part of AIG, United Guaranty had a comprehensive benefit plan.
The 401k match is very competitive with a great variety of investment options. They used to have PTO but now seem to have gone backwards to vacation and sick leave.
Company still issued both 401(k) and retirement, which is rare! Very generous PTO packages (not split between PTO and sick, which I preferred).
Worst is pay, Best is Health Insurance Tuition assistance is a joke. This requires your manager to approve each of your college classes and this takes away from their budget for the dept.
Great benefit package including ST/LT disability, maternity/paternity leave, bonus pkg, shorter work week, good pay.
6% Matching 401(k), good health and life benefits, same as AIG, our parent company. Health has gotten more expensive and less coverage with the implementation of Obamacare, not AIG's fault, though.
great 401k match, good Paid-Time-Off even for new employees, health insurance plan that allows you to control your own expenses
The vacation time is awesome never worked anywhere with this much paid time off.
PTO and health benefits
Best: Generous paid time off Worst: bonus is not based on the company's profit or employees' performance.
