Great PTO. Directors are flexible and never had a problem with taking time off.
It was a pleasant surprise to have a part time position with paid time off!
In a 10 month contract you have 2 weeks off and completely paid during winter break as well as 10 days of personal day off paid.
Use it or lose it.
We have an enormous amount of days off. But we are so busy sometimes it's not worth taking days off because you have too much work to make up. No sick days, but we have flex days to use for whatever we want.

Very generous time off package
Vacation time is okay. You build up the amount of days per year with experience. It would be nice if sick & vacation time were consolidated into one "paid time off" account so employees can use it at their discretion.
Excellent. The best thing about UW. Just be ready to come back to a piled up workload and a plethora of voicemails.
You have to pay back if you leave during middle of year.
