Changes to pension plan hurt long-term employees.
Benefits aren’t bad if you know what you’re doing. I have multiple chronic illnesses so I always opt for the traditional plan. Sure my premium might be higher but I pay less for my prescriptions monthly in the long run. Vacation is just the PTO you accumulate as you go. The longer you’ve worked for the company the more hours you earn per pay period, and you can always donate it or cash it out.
Everything was great! Highly recommend.
The benefits package is complete but given that this is a hospital, it is disappointing that the medical insurance comes with such a high deductible.
Better benefit package at the Clinic as there are more options to choose from for healthcare. RN's get PTO bridging, but no other position gets this benefit.
The worst thing is that you can on schedule visits with UH providers in order to use the medical insurance. There used to be a percentenage provided to out of network providers.
Good benefits: everything included. Costs of contributions are going up, but that is happening everywhere isn't it?
PTO accrual is good and gets better the longer you are employed. Health benefits are not great for it being a large healthcare system. 401K offered. FMLA and short/long term disability benefits are average.
Expensive insurance with high premiums
Too many chiefs not enough Indians.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
