403b retirement account through TIAA with 10% employer match. Plentiful leave time with monthly accrual increasing with years of service.
As a Public University the benefits are middle/high tier. You earn vacation very fast, always have plenty of sick days, and get a nice subsidy on your health care with fair options to add family members. Vacation was accrued pay period to pay period. You would earn 8 hours per month. At 5 years this was bumped to 12 and at 10 years to 16. Sick days accrued in the same manner. The health benefits are great and very cheap for the employee as they are granted a subsidy on their plan. Added family members are not and are charged full plan price.
I didn't have any benefits package as a student worker.
For the regular full time employees, the benefits are great. The positions are state jobs, which come with all the perks: retirement, 401k, medical, dental, vision, vacation, etc.
Decent heath and dental package and a really good match on retirement. Tuition and fees are discounted 80% to employees, spouse, and children.
