I was very happy with the employee benefits. Excellent health insurance.
No matching retirement contributions (except into a mandatory pension system) Average healthcare, etc
Extremely generous leave package. Company provides a benefits allowance which helps manage pricey medical benefits. Dental options are great, but base plan is a touch expensive. Disappointed in lack of STD program. Leave share might help, but doesn't impact maternity leave (which the university does not offer either). Life insurance is generous and additional can be obtained at a very low cost. University does provide small amount of tuition waiver, but this is very limiting for those looking for a Master's program in their field that isn't covered in the Graduate program.
the best thing, because it is higher education, is the time off!! it's great! you get all holidays, and weekends, and on top of that you get two weeks of vacation or more.
Employee paid health insurance premium is great!
Insurance is pretty good. The university covers medical and the rates for vision and dental are reasonable. The best part is the amount of time off.
