    From my understanding, they don't have a maternity leave for basic staff member. Only facility members gets 6 weeks paid without dipping into their Paid Time Off. Basic staff member can get time off paid through FMLA, but that have to use their earned Paid Time Off. So if you only have 4 weeks earned before the baby is born, you'll only get 4 weeks paid and the remaining 6 weeks is unpaid but you're job is protected up to 12 weeks under FMLA. Not a good benefit at all! Never hear of a company/corporation not having maternity leave plan that is separate from PTO.

    6 weeks paid leave, not the best but not the worst

    Allows up to 12 weeks of maternity leave.

    I am not sure of this type of leave, since I have not taken it. However, I do know that a research assistant who is getting 3 months maternity leave.
