Benefits are phenomenal for all employees from 1st day - 22 Days Vacation, 3 days Personal, 12 days Holiday, and 15 days Sick. 6.5% retirement match. Also: many other supplemental items like Tuition Assistance, Dependent Care, Flex Spending etc. NOTE: Salaries are lower - except for some entry to mid level positions are higher.
The retirement and health benefits are nothing short of amazing, and if you are in a union, the salaries are good.

I was a grad student at UCONN Health. The grad student benefits package was pretty good, but would be better if vision were included.
