Good benefits for the amount deducted from your salary
For graduate students, there is not much opportunity for vacations, but if the faculty is good, then students can go on tour and vacation
For my position there was no retirement plan and no paid leave. But there was health insurance. It wasn't great, and it got worse as they kept changing it, but getting health insurance for part time work is pretty rare so I'm not complaining.
Health insurance for graduate assistants is amazing. The small fee comes out of paychecks automatically. Overall it was great, inexpensive coverage and lucky to have had it.
The insurance package is getting worse, comparing to the one I get in first year employment.
Very comprehensive package, but if you live over the border in Massachusetts, providers and lab services are limited. On campus physical therapy was great.
Overall a great place to work. Positive environment. Happy people all around. Benefits package is great. Overall I would certainly recommend
GA benefits when paid for were good.
No Short term disability coverage
It was a student position so there were no additional benefits that came with it.
