Vacation time is good, paid time off between Christmas and New Years, 5-9 retirement contribution is excellent, health insurance is affordable, the dental insurance is very limited though
Nothing is good about this place
Free full tuition reimbursement for spouse and children, as well as part time tuition reimbursement for yourself. Poor rates for insurance coverage
403b is great. You put in 5%, they put in 9%. Education benefits are great. Health insurance is expensive and covers very little. Paid time off is poor, but the week-long holiday closure is great.
The health insurance is a bit high, but you do receive a 9% match on retirement and tuition remission for yourself and immediate family.
Health insurance costs are creeping up, but that is the case everywhere else, too. Dental insurance could be better. Other than that no other complaints about the benefits.TIAA CREFF matching is currently at 9%, which is excellent.
The did not offer benefits. Access to on-campus areas (parking, the gym) is not discounted. Designation as staff for parking is not recognized.
The best benefit is the tuition remission. Undergraduate and graduate tuition is free for the employee and undergraduate tuition for defendants is free. The medical insurance package has recently changed and is more expensive then it used to be. They are pushing everyone to the deductible plan. The regular POS plan went up by around $1500. However, it is still a good program compared to some others out there.
