Worst thing is the efficiency of HR. They were very slow. Sometimes you have to send multiple emails to get your answers.
I was there full time, but an Graduate Assistant only. The per hour rate is not very competitive to the industry rate. Great campus and the ambiance.
As a research assistant partime I had very little to no benefits. Benefits were never really communicated clearly anyways.
The retirement for staff is TRS (Teachers Retirement System). Health is paid 100% for the employee. Vacation hours and sick time is earned monthly and with time in you earn more hours per month. You also get to carry more vacation time year to year the longer you are there.
The best thing is that international students get a waiver that significantly reduces tuition. However, experience is not a factor in determining pay
The heath benefits are great. The sick days and dental are awesome as well.
