Sick leave can't be transferred to others, which isn't great. Fellow employee got really sick and needed some extra time, but I couldn't donate mine. He didn't qualify for long-term sick, so he had to take some unpaid leave.
Fast accruing; opportunity to work season days around the holiday to gain extra PTO or can take them off without using your own PTO.
You get it once you become a regular employee.
This totally depends on your position classification. Most salaried full time staff starting off accrue 1-2 vacation days/month and have 14 sick days per year. Paid holidays and season days (Christmas through New Years). It adds up to a lot of time off.
Because I've been here for over 10 years, I get one day of vacation per month I work.
