Generous Paid Time Off, sick leave and holidays, competitive health insurance benefits, 401 K with matching. Tuition assistance is available for Master's and below and, at earned increments, for children of employees; however, it is not available for Doctoral level programs.
The best thing about the benefits package is for anyone thinking of continuing their education. UNE doesn't overtly explain this, and luckly I had some colegues that told me, but at at least 20 hours a week one can attend 1 UNE online or in person course for an incredibly small cost. If you work full time you can attend 2 courses per semester. The worst thing is if you work half time the amount taken out for healthcare is high. I also just don't understand why dental is not covered. Is it not considered part of our health?
The 401k match is really good and they offer a lot of paid holidays. The time off is decent depending on if you are hourly or salaried. Salaried people get more PTO but they are overall generous with it. They do try to compensate with benefits for somewhat low pay.
