    I wish they would go to PTO instead of vacation and sick time. It takes a while to work up to a few weeks of vacation.

    Since you work at a University you do get significant days off during the holidays which are paid. That's a nice perk.

    You immediately begin accruing time. You get 2 personal days and 12 sick days a year. You also get 2 weeks paid vacation, 3 weeks after 5 years and 4 weeks after 10 years.
