The lack of choice for doctors. Beaver Medical is the dominant medical provider and they are not great. It can be hard to get into Loma Linda. Hard to tell if the substandard care I fee my family gets is due to the provider or across the board. We used to get much better care with our doctor prior to moving here.
Employee portion of rates continue to skyrocket, and the options continue to narrow. Starting in FY 2015-16 there will be a discount available to those who participated and met certain goals in the University's voluntary Wellness Program.
