Availability of providers in Laramie can be limited as it is a smaller town
The employees pay for health insurance premium per month relatively much lower than the University of Wyoming contributes for each of its employees.
The best thing is the low, subsidized premiums.

UW uses Cigna, which does significant comprehensive health coverage.
The health coverage is excellent for personal and family coverage. Vision isn't covered independently, but some may be covered by general health insurance.
Doctors in the area were subpar and more exspensive
Very good plan and very affordable in todays market. The family benefits are very affordable with very reasonable deductibles. Very liberal benefits.
