Retirement plan is the best in the USA as far as I know. Very generous.
Great retirement, insurance, and time off for exempt employees. Took a two month paternity leave. Really enjoyed getting to spend that time with the new baby.
The excellent benefits package is the only things that keeps employees working for UW.
Health insurance and retirement contribution is excellent. If you have the time, taking a class per term is an excellent opportunity to advance your knowledge.
Overall, very good benefits. Good health insurance and great retirement contributions. Free classes make getting a degree/ second degree very affordable!
All the benefits are worth the job and lower pay. If you live in Laramie Wyoming it is the best you will find.
Package was really great all the way around but out of pocket cost for staff position was a bit high and worse after Obama Care pased
There are no benefits for part time employees, and some positions are hour limited to prevent employees from gaining benefits. The package included with enrollment at the university is better than the options available for part time employees.
Good Health Insurance through CIGNA. Matching retirement through TIA/Cref Time between Christmas and New Years the University is closed for vacation for all employees.
It is nice to have health insurance as a student. Access to student health on campus, gym, etc. is a nice perk, too
