Great 403(b) plan and PTO. Could use a bit of help on Maternity/Parental leave.
The benefits are good, especially the 401K contribution and education benefits, but the maternity/paternity leave policy is lousy. Urban’s is 2 weeks at full pay plus short - term disability for 6 weeks with partial salary. Could definitely be improved!
PTO is generous, 8% matching to 401k is good (as is the option to contribute pre/post-tax), but the only 2 weeks paid parental leave is skimpy for an organization that's done research itself into the benefits of parental leave.
It is super duper great!
The benefits are just okay.
Awesome retirement savings, strong time off, health and dental coverage, pre-tax commuting benefits and HSA.
It was fine for employees but not for interns.

The benefits at Urban are excellent. They include a comprehensive self-insured PPO health plan with prescription benefits baked in. The retirement plan is a 403(b) with an awesome 8% employer contribution that starts after 6 months and 1,000 hours have been served and 100% vesting from the start. There is a 6% employee auto-enroll component set up that will take effect after 90 days of employment, but it can be reduced, increased, or stopped prior to or after it begins. This means that you don't have to save your own money (although you should) in order to receive the employer contribution to the plan, which is essentially free money Urban gives you towards your retirement savings.
Match your 401k, great medical, vision and dental coverage. The education assistance could be improved but still helpful.
