They do have great benefits with health insurance and vacation but the 401k could be better. You have access to contribute on your own but they make a very tiny contribution that isn't determined till after the year. There is no incentive match so the majority of employees DO NOT contribute to their 401k option.
Great benefits for your pets (up to 4,) and able to pay balances off over time. Benefits for people, not so great. Only 3 paid holidays, and if your hospital is closed for that holiday, you just have to take the loss of hours, since they aren't paid. I look 10 hours off my check for Memorial Day, Labor Day, and the 4th of July because my hospital is closed. PTO accrues VERY slowly. High deductible on health insurance. For a large, wealthy, successful corporation, it is disappointing. Smaller practices I have worked for have had much better benefits.
It's very expensive and pretty crappy. I myself do not have insurance through them and I know a few other employees do not as well.
Insurance is sub par and too expensive to even afford. Great employee discount.
Good discount on pet care. Vacation was earned as you go
has full benefits, but the plan they chose isn't very good. you have to pay to much out of pocket. 401 is okay because they will match your contribution up to 8%
Every kind of benefit is minimum.
Good health insurance options and 401k. I would like to see more aggressive company matching & stock options.
Benefits are not affordable based on pay
Beat is the discount for your pets. Worst is the health insurance it terrible and expensive
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
